Buffalo Spring Strings
In 2008 several of us came together with the idea that we would form a group for the purpose of playing and sharing our interest in the traditional and folk sounds of the mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, etc.
We are located in the Minorsville area of Scott County, Kentucky. Our meeting place is the Minorsville Christian Church about 5 miles north of Stamping Ground, Kentucky on Hwy 227.
Our regular meetings are on the first Sunday of the month beginning at 1:30 with that time being dedicated to beginners if we have any. At 2:00 we have the introduction of new songs. Then, at 2:30 we jam!
We also have set aside the third Sunday afternoon for extra playing time.
